Job Title: CSI / Syteline Operations Consultant



Job Summary:


The CSI/Syteline Operations Consultant will be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and supporting the effective use of Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI/Syteline) across client organizations. This role requires a strong background in CSI/Syteline implementations, with prior experience in managing, configuring, and enhancing CSI/Syteline systems to meet business needs. The consultant will work closely with clients to analyze their operational processes, recommend best practices, and drive efficiency improvements through process automation and system optimization.


This position involves traveling up to 50% of the time (two 4-day trips per month), as well as the ability to work remotely from a home office. The ideal candidate is an independent, self-motivated professional with strong technical and leadership skills and a proven track record in ERP consulting, particularly within manufacturing or service environments.


Essential Job Responsibilities:



  • ERP Implementation & Optimization: Lead the implementation, customization, and enhancement of Infor CSI/Syteline, driving operational efficiency across various departments.

  • System Configuration & Support: Configure Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) tools and Finite Capacity Scheduling (FCS) to optimize resource allocation and production timelines.

  • Leadership & Training: Provide leadership during system implementation and optimization projects, including user setup, training, and support for Infor CSI & Ming.le platforms.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify system gaps, and design effective solutions that meet the client's operational goals.

  • Process Automation & Best Practices: Analyze current business processes and recommend automation opportunities to enhance performance metrics and ensure best practices.

  • Project Management: Oversee daily system maintenance and project-related activities, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Write custom dashboards and reports within the Infor Workbench for real-time monitoring and decision-making.

  • Quality Management: Configure and implement Quality Management Systems (QMS) to track product quality, inspection processes, and corrective actions.

  • Project Billing & Cost Control: Manage project cost tracking, budget adherence, and invoicing using the CSI Project Module.

  • Product Upgrades & Learning: Stay current with Infor CSI system upgrades, and continuously learn new concepts and functionalities to support evolving client needs.


Skills & Experience:



  • 3-5 years of experience with Infor CSI/Syteline ERP.

  • Proven experience in ERP implementation and post-implementation support.

  • Manufacturing or service industry leadership experience with a focus on operational efficiency.

  • Hands-on expertise in Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

  • Expertise in managing Quality Management Systems (QMS).

  • Experience in project management, including cost control, resource allocation, and cross-functional team collaboration.

  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and training users.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and handle complex system requirements independently.

  • Experience in fast-growing, dynamic business environments.


Education/Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience with CSI/Syteline systems, manufacturing operations, or IT.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with Infor CSI/Syteline.
