Sr. Network Engineer

Roles and responsibilities:

• 10+ years in IT Infrastructure Operations, with a focus on network architecture and security.
• Lead the design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Cisco and Juniper routers and switches to ensure optimal network performance and security.
• Architect and manage Juniper SRX series firewalls to enforce security policies and protect against cyber threats.
• Conduct and oversee comprehensive firewall audits using Firemon to assess and enhance security posture.
• Administer Palo alto and Zscaler VPN for secure vendor access to our network resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in network architecture and security engineering, with expertise in Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet technologies.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco routers and switches.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper SRX series firewalls and Firemon firewall auditing tool.
• Strong understanding of VPN technologies, particularly Pulse Secure VPN.
• Familiarity with firewall management platforms such as Juniper Space/VM and Palo Alto Panorama.
• Experience deploying and managing Palo Alto firewalls in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Fortinet firewall implementation and optimization is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA, JNCIS, PCNSA, PCNSE, or FCNSP will be advantageous.
