About The Role

The Senior Associate, Quality Control is a motivated, detail-oriented person who will play an essential role in the company’s mission by completing peer-to-peer reviews performed by public record due diligence investigators on behalf of Vcheck's roster of clients, including high-profile banks, law firms, and private equity firms.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct quality assurance on all due diligence reports according to applicable FCRA, Client Guidelines, and internal Vcheck Global reporting requirements.
  • Identify, analyze, and intelligently summarize complex legal documents including liens, judgments, bankruptcies, criminal records, complaints, and other recorded documents.
  • Conduct and review research on social media profiles, derogatory news, and general online presence.
  • Maintain in-depth working knowledge of all protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Produce accurate, precise reviews and high-quality deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with the client relations team to ensure deliverables and timelines are achievable.
  • Collaborate with outside third-party firms for document retrieval, court runner services, and additional research.
  • Notify investigators of errors reported and respond to all inquiries received.
  • May assist with process related questions received from teams and department.
  • May support team workloads and may assist with quality audits and projects as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Political Science, or International Studies
  • Prior quality experience (preferred)
  • 2 years of related experience in Public Records
  • FCRA Regulation Knowledge
  • Knowledge of due diligence databases (Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, CLEAR, TLO) and basic understanding of multiple fulfillment processes
  • Bi-lingual (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with confidential and sensitive information (PII)
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions
  • Proficiency in the following applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Slack, Teams
