Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled AWS Architect with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and development to join our remote team. As an AWS Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions in AWS, focusing on automation, scalability, and secure deployment practices. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cloud architecture, Terraform templates, and DevOps strategies, while also leveraging your expertise in Python and AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage Terraform templates and Terraform modules to automate AWS infrastructure deployment.
  • Design and deploy AWS resources, including but not limited to Gateway, Lambda, and serverless authentication services.
  • Develop and implement Helm templates for Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Utilize Python or Shell scripting (Bash) to automate tasks and improve cloud infrastructure efficiency.
  • Lead Python development efforts for API creation and integration with AWS services.
  • Work with GitHub to manage code repositories, including implementing GitHub actions for CI/CD workflows, security scans (Sonar, AppSec), and optimizing the branching strategy.
  • Implement GitOps practices for continuous deployment and infrastructure management.
  • Design and deploy consistent authentication patterns across Lambda and EKS environments.
  • Architect and deploy serverless authentication services in AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate on DevOps architecture design and contribute to the overall cloud strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in AWS architecture, including designing and implementing AWS resources (Lambda, API Gateway, EKS, etc.).
  • Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
  • Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting (Bash).
  • Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of GitOps and version control strategies.
  • Knowledge of Helm templates and Kubernetes for deployment automation.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, including code scanning tools like Sonar and AppSec.
  • Experience designing authentication patterns for serverless applications and deploying them in Lambda and EKS.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and cloud architecture.
