Alpha is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of our digital marketing channels and website operations. In this role, the Ecommerce Manager will lead and oversee the strategy, execution, and optimization of our email, SMS, and digital marketing efforts to drive customer engagement and sales growth. They will also be responsible for managing website merchandising, ensuring that our product offerings are presented in a way that maximizes conversions and enhances the overall customer experience. This role will require close collaboration with the development team to implement new features, improve site functionality, and ensure a seamless shopping experience across all devices.

The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in an Ecommerce management role, with a strong focus on digital marketing and website development. They should have a proven track record of driving growth through strategic and data-driven marketing initiatives, while also demonstrating a customer-first approach to website management. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, organized, and adept at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, leadership ability, and a collaborative mindset are essential, as this role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

This position is a hybrid role, coming into the office an average of 2 days a week.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Website Merchandising: Oversee website merchandising strategies to ensure the online store is optimized for product visibility, ease of navigation, and conversion. Partner with creative and product teams to create a compelling user experience.
  • Email & SMS Marketing: Lead the development, execution, and optimization of email and SMS campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, customer segmentation, and personalized content to drive engagement, conversions, and retention.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage and collaborate with digital marketing teams to execute online campaigns across various channels, including paid search, display advertising, and social media. Monitor campaign performance, track KPIs, and adjust strategies to optimize ROI.
  • Website Development: Work closely with the development team to implement new features, enhancements, and functionalities on the website. Ensure site performance, speed, and user experience are continuously improved.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyze and report on key Ecommerce metrics, campaign performance, and customer insights. Use data-driven strategies to inform decisions and optimize future marketing and site strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and operations, to ensure all Ecommerce activities align with business goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Customer Journey Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance the customer journey, from discovery to checkout, ensuring an engaging and seamless experience across all digital touchpoints.

  • 4+ years of experience in an Ecommerce
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as eCommerce Manager
  • Strong knowledge of email and SMS marketing platforms (Klaviyo and Attentive experience preferred) and CRM tools.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing channels (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, and affiliate marketing).
  • Proven experience with Shopify and website management.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and experience working with Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, or similar tools.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in retail or fashion Ecommerce preferred
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and user experience (UX) best practice preferred.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic web development concepts preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
