Cornelis Networks is seeking an ASIC Design Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an automation engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and administration of tools, flows and infrastructure to enable the development of leading-edge networking ASICs for next-generation AI and HPC clusters scaling to exascale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interface and develop workflows between IT organizations and HW design project organizations.
  • Operational administration and tool development and maintenance for:
    • Revision control systems
    • Continuous testing through regressions
    • Repository management (e.g., gitlab, github)
    • Batch queuing systems (e.g., LSF, Slurm)
    • Compute resource planning and utilization
    • Metrics identification, collection, analysis, and reporting
    • Engineering productivity scripts tools and scripts
    • CAD tool installation and flow bring up
    • Tool licensing and environments
    • Technology evaluation to stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design methodologies to drive innovation and improve ASIC design processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must reside in the United States.

  • 10+ years of experience developing for frontend design workflows and environments.
  • 5+ years of experience with EDA tools with solid experience in scripting languages (Python, Tcl) used to build tools and flows for complex environments.
  • Experience with ASIC EDA infrastructure (compute, storage, job scheduling) management, maintenance and support.
  • Understanding of standard ASIC development flow including front-end RTL design, design verification, IP integration, simulation and synthesis.
  • Experience with communicating across functional internal teams and with vendors.
  • B. S. Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.

Location

For this position, Cornelis Networks fully supports remote employees who live within the United States and are able to travel to our corporate offices in Chesterbrook, PA periodically for in-person collaboration.
