Salary: 50-60k
  • Work on support requests
  • Develop an upgrade schedule for all managed servers. Coordinate updates and maintenance window with client contacts if need. (Exchange migrations, AD migrations, Citrix upgrades, etc)
  • Creating accounts, security groups, and group policies in an Active Directory environment.
  • Install line of business applications on client servers and move data from old servers/systems as needed.
  • Assist clients with requests ranging from troubleshooting connectivity, printing, scanning, and other simple issues when accessing their cloud workspace. (Citrix and Terminal services)
  • Assist with deploying new tenant servers and configuring them within OpenStack environment.
  • Audit server backups and perform backup and DR testing for tenant servers on scheduled basis.
  • Attend conference calls and go to meeting webinars with other staff members.
  • Document procedures into an internal knowledgebase and wiki for team cross training
  • Managing virtualized servers using VMware, vSphere, ESXi, OpenStack and Hyper-V
  • Managing Veeam backup and replication with a full understanding of BaaS and DraaS
  • Managing (SpamTitan and FortiMail) enterprise email gateways and should be very familiar in anti-spam, content and other spam prevention filtering techniques.
  • Managing Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange servers.
  • PowerShell, PowerCLI, and other automation and tool
  • Responsible for migrations to cloud environments

Required Candidate profile

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of strong system engineering experience in information technology with heavy specialization in Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, OpenStack and Veeam technologies.
  • Should have minimum of 5 years of experience in providing IT technical support to global users.
  • Deeper understanding and troubleshooting of internet protocols including DNS, DHCP, SMTP etc.
  • Experience in VDI and Terminal services.
  • Candidate should have excellent customer handling and problem solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication (English).
  • Microsoft MCSE or VMware VCP or OpenStack COA certification is added advantage.
