About the work:

Our project focuses on Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) to enhance Commercial GEOINT capabilities to meet mission needs and user requirements for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This task aims to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of GEOINT operations, ensuring that emerging capabilities are integrated seamlessly to support national security priorities. The task requires individuals with expertise in systems engineering, project management, and a strong understanding of GEOINT processes. A Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance is required to handle sensitive information related to national security.

Job Description:

We're seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission in GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence). In this role, you'll play a vital role in discovering, evaluating, and implementing emerging GEOINT capabilities to meet mission needs and user requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability, and analysis.
  • Translating mission and customer requirements into systems/capability requirements and solutions.
  • Assessing Commercial capabilities, including gathering vendor data, performance fit evaluation, and risk ranking.
  • Developing, maintaining, and updating functional profiles for imagery, data, products, and analytic services.
  • Overseeing Mid- and Junior-level contractor Systems Engineers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or a related field.
  • Senior-level experience in relevant work areas, including familiarity with system engineering and project (12+ years) management.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master s in Systems Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, and tools.
  • Membership or leadership participation in professional organizations.
  • Extensive experience in geospatial intelligence.
  • Experience with Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and Architecting Solutions.
  • Knowledge of the current GEOINT and NRO enterprises.

Security Clearance Requirement: Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance
