Description
We are in search of a meticulous and experienced Ellucian Cloud Migration Engineer to be part of our dynamic team in the IT Services industry. This role provides an extended contract employment opportunity, focusing on the migration of on-premise modules to the cloud. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition of all modules to the cloud and providing optimal solutions for any challenges that may arise.
Responsibilities:
Lead the migration process of on-premise modules, including Finance, HR, Web Grading, Informer, among others, to the cloud.
Ensure all modules are cloud-ready before the migration process.
Utilize your experience with Ellucian Banner Colleague in the migration process.
Use SQL for database migration and programming tasks.
Leverage your understanding of the Higher Education industry to optimize the migration process.
Draw upon your 5+ years of experience to handle complex migration projects.
Utilize your skills in Cloud ERP, Database Migration, SQL Programming, and Unidata to deliver effective solutions.
Monitor and manage customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the IT industry, specifically in cloud migration.
Demonstrated expertise in Ellucian Banner.
Proven experience in SQL programming and SQL database management.
Proficiency in Cloud ERP and Database Migration.
Familiarity with Unidata is essential.
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferable.
Relevant certifications in cloud technologies or databases are advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent project management skills.
