We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Salina, Kansas. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues and requests, handling technical support and ensuring timely resolution or escalation of incidents. This role demands strong problem-solving abilities, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of user satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the initial contact for IT-related issues and requests, providing first-level support.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in relation to hardware, software, and network systems.

Communicate with customers through various channels such as phone, email, or ticketing systems.

Log, categorize, and prioritize incidents in the ticketing system to ensure efficient resolution.

Escalate unresolved issues to second-line support or relevant IT teams as required.

Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of end-user systems, including laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.

Conduct basic network troubleshooting such as internet connectivity and VPN issues.

Support users in the use of common software applications such as Microsoft Office, email clients, and other business-specific tools.

Provide guidance and assistance to users regarding IT policies and best practices.

Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure consistent service delivery and improve internal processes.

Monitor and follow up on pending tickets to ensure timely closure and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in an IT help desk or technical support role.
  • Experience with Active Directory user management (creating, updating, disabling user accounts, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including administration of email, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint).
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals).
  • Familiarity with Windows OS and basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
