  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

This position is an extended arm of the Global Project Implementation Team responsible for project implementation and digital product promotion in North and South America. The candidate will have to drive digital product implementation in regional offices in line with corporate direction and communicate with customers, vendors, and customs on regional requirements for process and system integration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage in the development of business solution-oriented software, understanding customer needs and the business context to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Define and execute test-driven development and be able to provide guidance to others.
  • Collaborate closely with all the other members of the team to take shared ownership of the code and quality produced.
  • Responsible for estimating, planning, and managing own tasks and reporting on progress.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle from beginning to end.
  • Practice active pair programming and be able to guide the partner in the process.
  • Be a role model of all best practices and provide leadership and mentorship to other members of the team.
  • Be able to practice as a full stack developer.
  • Have a general understanding of all the technical aspects being used in the team and be able assist or assume the role of the technical anchor when needed.
  • Apply and provide guidance on cyber security related practices in all stages of software development.
  • Collaborate with members of all roles in the agile team to ensure a true balanced team. Be fluent and comfortable to apply all agile practices and provide guidance to others.
  • Stay abreast of latest technology trends and best practices of software development and be able to evaluate new technologies/ tools/ practices and provide recommendations.
  • Embrace and leverage AI tools to enhance development productivity, code quality, and minimize cybersecurity vulnerabilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Collaboration and teamwork
  • Proficiency of Python/Java/JavaScript and other programming languages
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and working environment
  • Hands-on experience with the latest Generative AI technologies and frameworks, with the ability to leverage them in software development to drive innovation and efficiency
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in a relevant field
  • Previous experience in the logistics industry or related field is a plus
