A global pharmaceutical company seeks a Business Operations Analyst in Cambridge, MA. The position is a long-term, temporary role expected to last twelve months, possibly longer. This role is currently onsite, with the possibility for a hybrid schedule. The hourly rate is $30-$45 hourly, depending upon experience.

Primary Duties:

The Business Operations Analyst will collaborate with a diverse community of researchers and management to capture business needs and work flow. Additional duties include the following:

  • Participate in global outreach, collaboration initiatives, and projects supporting a diverse and dynamic research community.

  • Participate in documenting business process workflow, including the creation of diagrams to support workflow initiatives

  • Support global stakeholder management processes.

  • Engage with the business owners, users and service providers of existing solutions to aid in assessment and planning lifecycle.

  • Provide input and data in support of planning, prioritization and budget process for IT projects.

  • Support communication of strategies, ideas, and goals to senior management.

  • Participate in the coordination and creation of product/service documentation and training.

  • Participate in the creation of foundational service design documentation.

  • Special projects as required.


Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of Business Analysis experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Experience working in the scientific environment, especially one that is related to drug development is preferred

  • Practical experience understanding, collecting, and documenting requirements and use cases

  • Ability to enable customer success through thoughtful analysis and communication

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a trusted advisor and consultant

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
