  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Piper Companies is seeking an analytical and strategic User Acceptance Tester - Oracle with a focus on technical testing and validation of Oracle systems within logistics operations. The User Acceptance Tester - Oracle will develop and execute test plans, conduct UAT, and ensure software solutions meet business requirements and user expectations. The ideal User Acceptance Tester - Oracle must be willing to work EST/CST hours.

Responsibilities for the User Acceptance Tester - Oracle include:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and user stories.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the software meets specified requirements and functions correctly.
  • Utilize core technical testing skills to conduct detailed testing on Oracle systems, including Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting any issues and the status of testing activities.
  • Work with automation teams to develop and execute automated test scripts where applicable.
  • Apply logistics knowledge to ensure that the software solutions effectively support logistics operations and processes.

Qualifications for the User Acceptance Tester - Oracle include:
  • 3+ years' experience in UAT and technical testing, with a focus on Oracle systems.
  • Proficiency in Oracle EBS, SQL, PL/SQL, and other relevant Oracle technologies.
  • Experience with logistics operations and understanding of logistics processes.
  • Experience with testing tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and attention to detail.

Compensation of the User Acceptance Tester - Oracle includes:
  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually.
  • Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP plus PTO and Paid Holidays.
