Position Overview

The CPA will be responsible for advanced analysis and programming tasks, participating in various initiatives, including:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC):
  • Participate in all phases, including design, software development, and code review.
  • Code Reviews:
  • Conduct extensive code reviews and analysis.
  • Write reports on code analysis to assess adherence to industry standards and best practices, addressing any identified shortcomings.
  • Knowledge Sharing:
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to existing development staff.
  • Additional Duties:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF SERVICE

Services are expected to start 11/18/2024 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 1920 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.

WORK HOURS AND LOCATION

Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. The primary work location(s) will be at 111 E 17th Street Austin, Texas 78711. The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework.

Work Hours: Candidate must be available to work 8 to 5 Central Standard Time Alternative work hours must be pre-approved by the Direct Supervisor

Onsite Requirement: Candidate will mostly be working remotely but will be require to come onsite as required by the Direct Supervisor. (One day out of the week up to five times a month)

Support Requirement: Candidate will be required to provide support in an on-call situation 24 hours a day during rotation. Candidate may be required to provide support to an on-call programmer.
