Indev is seeking a System Integration Specialist to join our elite application development team. You will play a pivotal role with ensuring the seamless integration of the new PHMSA Vulnerability Tracker app with existing systems and platforms. The specialist works with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure integration solutions, all while embracing the Agile mindset to foster innovation and rapid adaptation.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of the Vulnerability Tracker with PHMSA's existing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs and middleware solutions to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to support integration tasks.
- Apply Agile methodologies to ensure the integration efforts align with project timelines and stakeholder requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Implement best practices for system integration, ensuring security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration activities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 years of relevant experience focused on the integration of multiple software tools, hardware platforms, operating systems and database management systems.
- Proficient with integration of systems using Angular and AWS services.
- Previous experience developing a comprehensive IPv6 migration plan, incorporating essential design elements and rigorous testing of technical aspects.
- Ability to manage multiple integration efforts simultaneously within an Agile framework.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills to work seamlessly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience working in a Federal environment, preferably Department of Transportation
- Active Public Trust clearance
- Agile certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master)
