  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: Data Engineer

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with Big Data systems and ETL processes.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Applying DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and automating that process.
  • 10+ years of development experience; expertise in Python, Spark, and SQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of data pipelines independently.

Desired Education:

  • Bachelor s degree or higher.

Major Duties/Tasks:

  • Code and manage changes to the existing FM Common Data Model and add procurement data sources.
  • Work with data scientists and functional resources to build silver and gold tables to support procurement data within Advana.
  • Support the configuration and ingestion of structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data repositories into capabilities that satisfy mission partner requirements.
  • Maintain all operational aspects of data transfers, ensuring the security posture of the infrastructure and systems.
  • Automate configuration management and stay current on ETL technologies and services.
  • Develop approaches to solutions independently, review architecture, and identify areas for automation, optimization, and cost reduction.
  • Engage with multiple functional groups to comprehend client challenges, prototype new ideas, and create solutions.
