  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: Functional Safety Engineer (16694-1)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Duration: 6-12+ Months

Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive functional safety ISO 26262
  • Work independently on design tasks to lead the electrical hardware functional safety design
  • Design Safety Electronics Electrical Hardware Products
  • Work with the electrical engineering team to create the functional safety design and analysis
  • Support electrical DFMEA creation and maintenance
  • Create safety-related DFA, FMEDA, and FTA for the hardware design
  • Review customer requirements and safety manuals
  • Support product design reviews
  • System knowledge ASIL A, B, C and D system
  • Experience with automotive systems development life cycle
  • Experience in automotive serial communication protocols such as CAN & LIN
  • Experience in different microcontrollers and peripherals such as SPI, GPIO, PWM, etc.
  • Experience in Microcontrollers, SoC
  • Assist other teams with the implementation of systems engineering processes, which can also include cross-functional reviews of requirements and safety analyses
  • Experience in Doors, Medini tools Rhapsody

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree, Electrical Engineering
  • 5 + years experience in functional safety design and analysis
  • Familiarity and understanding of ISO26262, particularly parts 5, 8, and 9
  • Experience with safety analysis and creation of DFA, DFMEA, FMEDA, FTA HARA
  • Understanding of electrical circuits and the design of them
