Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in agency licensing and compliance software. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Duck Creek Distribution Management System or equivalent software. The focus will be on driving the successful implementation and integration of our new systems, particularly through the integrated and end-to-end testing phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to agency licensing and compliance.
  • Assist in the implementation of the Duck Creek Distribution Management System or equivalent software, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and participate in integrated and end-to-end testing phases to validate system functionality and compliance with requirements.
  • Develop and document business processes, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Identify gaps and areas for improvement within existing processes and systems.
  • Provide training and support to users on new systems and processes.
  • Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendors to facilitate effective communication and project success.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to management on milestones, risks, and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within the insurance or compliance sectors.
  • Proven experience with Duck Creek Distribution Management System or similar licensing and compliance software.
  • Strong knowledge of agency licensing processes, regulatory compliance, and related workflows.
  • Experience in managing and conducting integrated and end-to-end testing for software implementations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
