Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with over 12 years of industry expertise to join our remote team. You will play a pivotal role in building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and automation processes. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working with modern DevOps tools and methodologies, a deep understanding of cloud platforms, and the ability to work across different teams and environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Concourse and GitHub Actions.
  • Manage and enhance infrastructure using Backstage.io for software cataloging and development.
  • Implement, configure, and maintain GitHub Enterprise and other version control tools.
  • Utilize Linux fundamentals for system administration and automation tasks.
  • Write and maintain automation scripts and tools using Golang, Python, Ruby, or Rust.
  • Support and maintain infrastructure across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Ensure continuous integration, deployment, and delivery of software applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any infrastructure-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices.

Required Skills:

  • 12+ years of DevOps experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Backstage.io.
  • Proficiency in Concourse CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals.
  • Programming expertise in Golang, Python, Ruby, or Rust.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Solid experience with GitHub Enterprise.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multi-cloud infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps tools and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
