Working at our Beavercreek Site:

GE Aerospace operations have been part of the Beavercreek community for over 70 years! Our Beavercreek facility manufactures gas turbine tubes, ducts, and manifolds, and also has complex machining, fabrication and investment casting capabilities. Product engineering, new product development and testing is performed on site. This facility also does repair and overhaul of tubes, ducts, and manifolds. We have been awarded OSHAS's highest safety rating.

Role Overview:

The Lead Program Management Specialist will lead cross-functional teams, ensure project milestones are met, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, managing stakeholder communications, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Jobs at this level operate with some autonomy but are covered by well-defined Commercial policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Management of all contract performance-related activities, tied to customers and programs, including support of proposals and negotiations.
  • Interface between the customer and the internal business team, managing the transfer of information and requests.
  • Adhere to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial and technical metrics specific to contracts.
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
  • Identify and manage risks and develop mitigation strategies through the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, which includes preparing and presenting project reports and performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in Program/Project Management)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Program/Project Management


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in aerospace or a related field
  • PMP certification
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
