Job Description:
The consultant is the primary technical resource for Oracle Work and Asset Management (WAM) product, which is a comprehensive solution designed to manage the lifecycle of water and wastewater assets. The candidate will provide senior guidance and technical expertise for the onpremises installation of Oracle WAM to include configurations, customizations, process improvements, enhancements, and implementations to meet clientspecific requirements. The candidate will offer advanced troubleshooting and support for Oracle WAM by addressing complex technical issues and ensuring system stability. The consultant will create and update maintenance objects and business objects within the Oracle Utilities Application Framework
Scope of work:
The consultant will provide technical support for the Oracle Work & Asset Management (WAM) application. The consultant will provide senior guidance and expertise related to Oracle WAM. Requires expertise in the formulation of specifications and in the execution of technical initiatives in vertical areas. Defines requirements, performs analyses, and develops plans and requirements for the Oracle WAM system
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Support implementation and maintenance of Oracle WAM.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to elicit requirements and processes.
3. Design software solutions that adhere to programming best practices.
4. Develop customized database programs to enhance COTS products.
5. Create and maintain integrations to external applications.
6. Perform unit testing to validate solutions; assist with user acceptance testing.
7. Follow change management procedures to migrate new solutions to Production.
8. Provide production support by troubleshooting and resolving identified issues.
9. Follow service level agreement (SLA) metrics when resolving production issues.
10. Collaborate with the IT team to deliver secure solutions on schedule and on budget.
11. Mitigate security vulnerabilities by working with IT Security and COTS vendors.
12. Work with COTS vendors to support, maintain, and upgrade applications.
13. Configure maintenance objects and business objects in Oracle WAM.
