  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Onsite Requirement: The candidate will mostly be working remotely but will be required to come onsite as required by the Direct Supervisor. (One day out of the week up to five times a month)
The candidate will be required to provide support in an on-call situation 24 hours a day during rotation. Candidate may be required to provide support to an on-call programmer.
Job Description:
CPA will require the Candidate to work on the following initiatives and will perform advanced analysis/programming tasks such as:
    • Participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including design, software development, and code review.
    • Performing extensive code reviews and analysis.
    • Writing reports on code analysis to determine if industry standards and best practices are being followed; providing analysis to address found shortcomings.
    • Providing guidance and knowledge sharing to existing development staff.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
Must-Have:
  • Required Experience making code changes by standards, guidelines, and design documents provided.
  • Required Experience coordinating the testing, debugging, and preparing of test data and interacting with technical and non-technical staff in The coordination of changes
  • Required Professional experience in software development building production software systems
  • Required Experience with IBM Enterprise COBOL for z/OS
  • Required Experience with IBM DB2 for z/OS
  • Required Experience with MVS/JCL
  • Required Experience with data integration and data quality
  • Required Experience with Software AG's NATURAL
  • Required Experience with highly complex application security requirements
  • Required Experience with any of the Texas CPA Statewide Financial Systems: USAS, USPS, SPRS, TINS, HRIS, and SPA
  • Required Experience with Agile development experience with Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Confluence
  • Required Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, TEAMS, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint
