Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Solutions Architect or Integration Architect to support the enterprise architecture team. This role will involve designing and implementing scalable and efficient technology solutions, with a focus on healthcare insurance systems. Experience with Medicare or Medicaid-related projects is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect and other stakeholders to define technical architecture strategies that align with business goals.
  • Design and integrate complex systems, ensuring interoperability across diverse platforms (e.g., clinical systems, claims processing, provider networks).
  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions that support healthcare insurance operations, including eligibility, claims processing, and member services.
  • Provide technical leadership for system integration efforts, focusing on enhancing system reliability, performance, and security.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and integration standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years in solution/integration architecture roles.
  • Proven experience in the healthcare insurance industry, particularly with Medicare or Medicaid systems.
  • Expertise in system integration, APIs, and middleware technologies.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data formats (e.g., EDI, HL7, FHIR) and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and healthcare applications (e.g., Epic, Facets, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • TOGAF or ITIL certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in developing or integrating systems related to Medicare/Medicaid eligibility, claims processing, and data reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proactive approach to improving system performance and reliability.
