The Senior Digital Marketing Data Analyst - Data Analytics will be focusing on sourcing, analyzing, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and visualizing media (traditional and digital) & advertising data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making. Over time you will become a data SME for United Health B2B media and advertising marketing data.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective and strategic analytical solutions to enable data driven decisions
  • Evaluate and present information in a manner that will facilitate clients understanding of the results and impacts
  • Manage relationships with key business partners of across marketing/sales groups
  • Effectively gather requirements, probe for deeper understanding, and translate deep technical concepts to non-technical as well as technical senior stakeholders, marketing customers, and data analytics teams
  • Build/review complex visualization solutions, data files/extracts, and deliver insights to clients
  • Develop, implement, enhance, maintain existing Data/Visualization solutions
  • Operate independently and produce results
  • Influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Communicate across many levels of an organization
  • Responsible for data analysis, data integrity, data quality among various internal groups and/or between internal and external sources

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience writing SQL on SQL Server and Big Data Platforms
  • 3+ years of experience researching complex data/analytical issues
  • 3+ years of experience performing data analysis
  • 2+ years of management experience of either onshore or offshore analysts
  • 2+ years of experience in at least one of the Data visualizations tools (Tableau or PowerBI)
  • Quick learner and adopt to new tools, technologies and methodologies
  • Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with marketing performance analytics
  • Experience with Health Care Insurance
  • Familiarity with Digital Media and or advertising data
  • Python programming skills
  • Proven organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
  • Proven solid data visualization and/or data analysis acumen
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with clients
  • Proven ability to prioritize deliverables

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
