Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop full stack applications following an Agile development methodology in a team environment
  • Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
  • Conduct code review to ensure the work delivered by the team is of high-quality standards
  • Test and validate coding to ensure accuracy, compliance, efficiency, and scalability
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software engineering team and processes
  • Contribute code, tests, automation, application design and architecture to an agile team of engineers working across the application stack and portfolio
  • Collaborate with scrum teams in grooming user stories and developing acceptance criteria so that we can deliver value to our customers
  • Solve technical problems to discover solutions at any level of the stack (backend, frontend, database and infrastructure)
  • Communicate, learn, and share ideas across teams

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or 4+ years of engineering experience
  • 4+ years of development experience with C#
  • 2+ years of experience working with SQL server technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with Javascript and single-page applications


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to effectively work independently or with a team as a software engineer
  • Proven ability to effectively articulate and communicate concerns, issues or inquires in a timely manner

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
