Description:
- Skills equiv. to 5+ years in comparable position.
- Will participate in the design and implementation of automated testing technologies and will also participate in various software engineering projects using advanced development patterns.
- Will actively collaborate with the team in ongoing product testing, including design, development, review, integration, test, and deployment activities.
- Must have the ability to be self-directed and able to work with an extended, remote team to deliver products in a timely manner.
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced development environment that continually embraces the latest technologies and techniques.
Professional Experience
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Proven track record in leading QA teams or projects (optional)
Technical Skills:
Test Automation: Proficiency in tools like MABL, Selenium, or Saucelabs.
Performance Testing: Knowledge of tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
Defect Tracking Tools: Experience with JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
Programming Languages: Familiarity with languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation. 5.
CI/CD: Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Soft Skills: Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems and devise solutions.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring high quality in every aspect of software development.
Leadership: Skills in managing and mentoring QA teams (optional)
Communication:
- Verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Methodologies
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
Other Relevant Skills:
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience in risk management and assessment in QA processes.
- Ability to create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
