Role: EDI Specialist

Job Responsibilities: -

  • EDI System Management:
  • Design, develop, and maintain EDI transaction maps.
  • Ensure efficient and secure data exchange between systems.
  • Utilize EDIFECS tools for EDI transaction processing, compliance checking, and data transformation.
  • SQL Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries.
  • Manage database performance. Collaborate with database engineers to enhance system efficiency.
  • Claims Routing and Processing: Monitor and manage the routing of claims. Ensure timely and accurate processing of claims.
  • Resolve discrepancies and issues in claims processing.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
  • Provide support for EDI systems.
  • Debug issues and coordinate with trading partners for new integrations.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system changes.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications: -

  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards, including ANSI X12 (EDI 835 and 837).
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
  • Experience with EDIFECS tools. Excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills and experience in leading a team of support analysts.
