Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Snowflake Developer to join our team in Boise, Idaho. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, along with proficiency in MS-SQL, SAP HANA, ETL pipelines, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a long-term position, offering the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize and manage data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
  • Create and manage complex SQL queries in MS-SQL to support business needs.
  • Work with SAP HANA for data integration and ensure smooth data flow across systems.
  • Design and implement ETL pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Leverage GCP services for cloud-based data management and processing.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Perform data migrations, integrations, and ensure data quality throughout the data pipeline.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and fine-tune data processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Snowflake and cloud data technologies to implement best practices.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Snowflake Developer or in a similar data engineering role.
  • Strong experience with Snowflake data warehousing architecture and design.
  • Proficiency in MS-SQL and advanced SQL query writing.
  • Experience with SAP HANA for data integration.
  • Expertise in designing and maintaining ETL pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and cloud data management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python for data processing.
  • Experience in handling large-scale data sets in a cloud environment.
  • Certifications in Snowflake, GCP, or related technologies.
