Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex project in our organization. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience managing large-scale projects, with a proven track record of delivering results on time and within budget. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
Facilitate project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
Manage project resources, including team members, budgets, and timelines.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in project management methodologies.
Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
Technical Background:
The successful candidate will have experience or familiarity with the following technologies, which are integral to our current project:
Python: For developing backend components, including APIs and data processing scripts.
Mimir: For scalable time-series data storage and retrieval.
Prometheus: For monitoring and alerting systems, with an emphasis on integration and performance metrics.
Redfish API: For managing hardware servers and gathering metrics in a standardized manner.
Grafana: For data visualization and dashboard creation, enabling stakeholders to interpret data insights effectively.
Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for deployment and scalability considerations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
15-20 years of experience in project management.
Proven track record of managing complex projects with a focus on achieving business outcomes.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
