Marketing Content Specialist

At Seattle Boat Company, we are seeking a proactive and dedicated Marketing Content Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position plays a key role in marketing efforts for our multiple dealerships and diverse business branches that span boat sales, service, marinas, fuel docks, boat membership club, surf shops, and a dockside restaurant.

As our Content Specialist, you'll work with our Marketing Director and Media Specialist on various campaigns and initiatives that promote our brands and offerings. This position's primary focus will be producing content across marketing channels in email, social media, website, blog, and landing pages. This role could also be involved in design, signage, events, trade shows, print materials, SEO, and Google analytics.

This is an in-office position in a collaborative team environment out of our Seattle location.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist the department in managing our brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and produce engaging content in line with Marketing Goals for email campaigns, social media, website, landing pages, and blog, with a focus on creating reels for multiple brands.
  • Analyze and report on content performance and strategize for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor day-to-day social media engagement.
  • Optimize Website & Landing Page (Keywords & SEO).
  • Collaborate with our Media Specialist to capture and produce high-quality images and videos.
  • Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and insights, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Support our presence at customer-facing trade shows and events.
  • Organize and manage print marketing collateral, signage, and banners.
  • This position could be involved in digital advertising if the right fit has experience and interest but is not necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to create engaging multimedia content.
  • Strong special interest in current digital content best practices and strategies.
  • Familiarity with social media, social media, and email marketing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfort with multi-tasking and managing multiple brands.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and social abilities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED certificate
  • 1-3 years experience in marketing or equivalent education
  • Associate or degree in marketing, business or relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud and Wix
  • Misc Department Tech Stack: HubSpot, Jotform, Salesforce, Jasper, DealerSpike, MDS Brands

Compensation:

$25-$26/hr
