You love to write and develop messages that drive campaigns from the digital world and ecommerce to brochures and SEO content. You have at least 3 years of experience in writing longer-form content for blogs, emails, product descriptions, social posts and other compelling ecommerce content.

With copywriting as your core strength, you have expanded into developing multi-touch campaign plans that carry your messages along every customer touchpoint. You have developed into a full-fledged marketer that plans campaigns with purpose and clear business objectives, all the while using the messages you develop as the tip of the spear for reaching and influencing customers.

You are so professional about the content-driven campaigns you create that you also want to see how they perform. This has led you to gain experience in reporting on performance from promotions, SEO content, email campaigns, website content, social posts and other tactics. You don't shy away from reporting and pulling out spreadsheets to evaluate performance, good or bad.

Position Overview:

The B2C Campaign Specialist will develop campaign plans and schedules centered on driving direct-to-consumer sales growth. The critical skill sets for this position are the ability to plan campaigns with a clear goal, write content needed to support all campaigns activities and work with other team members to help ensure successful campaign launches.

The content could include website banner headlines, email and SMS campaigns, social media posts, brochure content, or any of the many other campaign tactics you need to employ to help drive growth.

The B2C Campaign Specialist will also identify, evaluate and use key metrics (e.g, traffic, conversions, engagements, etc.) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. Success in this role requires someone that is organized and able to manage multiple projects to deadlines, as well as flexible enough to respond to day-to-day communications needs.


Principle Duties:

  • PLAN & EXECUTE CONSUMER MARKETING CAMPAIGNS Creates quarterly marketing campaign plans aligned with sales objectives and using appropriate marketing channels, including web, email, SMS, social and affiliate networks. Leads execution of marketing campaigns by drafting copy, collaborating with graphic designers and web programmers, and proofreading for content and brand voice.
  • CREATE & CURATE CONTENT Writes and edits a variety of search-optimized content using the company's brand voice and style, including product descriptions, blog posts, landing pages, paid search ads, custom content for Amazon, brochures, flyers, press releases and sales presentations. Maintains a system to track, reference and update content as needed to ensure all content is current and accurate.
  • SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (SEO) Maintains day-to-day SEO activities, including planning, creating and optimizing content and tracking performance.
  • RETAIL MERCHANDISING Conduct regular monitoring and optimization of merchandising on RefrigiWear.com to ensure the optimal presentation of products to improve the customer experience and increases conversions.
  • MANAGE SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE Lead content creation and manage the brand's reputation on social media to increase brand awareness and audience engagement via paid and organic social media activities. Monitor social media accounts, respond to incoming questions, comments and user-generated content (UGC), and route inquiries to Customer Service when appropriate.
  • MONITOR BRAND VOICE AND STYLE This role requires a brand publisher mindset: creating and/or monitoring all content our audience receives to ensure it is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
  • REPORTING AND ANALYSIS Maintain reports on the performance of campaigns and social media performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • OTHER DUTIES Additional duties may be assigned to support content marketing and communications activities.

Note: After the introductory period, this will be a hybrid position with 2 days remote/3 days in-office.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Professional Communications or related field, or equivalent degree plus relevant experience
  • 3-5 Years of experience in copywriting, including web, email, SMS and social media channels
  • 3 Years of experience with campaign planning, execution and performance monitoring
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms (experience with BigCommerce is a plus), content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms (experience with Klaviyo is a plus) and social media marketing platforms.
  • Expert knowledge in common business and marketing software, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Google Analytics (GA4), and Klaviyo or similar marketing platforms
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects independently
  • Ability to interface with people at all levels, including customers and external vendors
  • Knowledge of business and marketing operations
