  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Lasso Informatics is looking for a Team Lead & Scrum Master who thrives in hands-on development while leading a small team. You ll design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge web applications, guiding a team of 3-4 developers, but expect most of your time to be focused on active coding. This role requires expertise in Java, React, and Redux, with the ability to mentor developers while delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, solutions-driven startup environment. We're looking for team members who embrace challenges with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset, focusing on collaboration and problem-solving rather than dwelling on obstacles.

With strong experience in Jira, you will ensure seamless project tracking and regularly update leadership on sprint progress, blockers, and milestones, ensuring full transparency and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain state-of-the-art web applications using Java, React, React Hooks, and Redux.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of features and functionalities.
  • Mentor developers, sharing your knowledge, expertise, and best practices.
  • Actively participate in code reviews, maintaining code quality, consistency, and performance standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring optimal application performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in React and web development to continually improve the platform.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in software development with strong proficiency in Java and API development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Expert-level experience with React and Redux (5+ years), including React Hooks and state management.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket.
  • Familiarity with unit testing, debugging tools, and working knowledge of SQL, MySQL, and other databases is an asset.
