As a Regional Director, Field Medical Affairs, your primary responsibilities will include, leading a team while keeping abreast of medical and scientific developments identify and critically assess research opportunities for our Gastroenterology and Rhinology programs. You are expected to play a supportive role in the execution of evidence generation plans enhancing the value of our products in a real-world setting and support research activities.

A typical day may include the following:
Leads a group ~6-8 for designated territories.
Conducts performance reviews and provide input to ensure alignment with goals.
Develops, communicate, manage, and implement corporate and field medical strategic plans and budgets.
Applies key clinical and research issues from industry leaders to support company research, development, and strategies for investigational and commercialized products aimed at improving human health
Mediates KOL's complex and diverse opinions vs; corporate policy decisions ensuring relationships/medical strategy are not negatively impacted.
Uses defined systems to map, identify, profile, and prioritize partners in line with the therapeutic area medical plan. Seeks opportunities to collaborate and build a value based partnerships.
Maintains business and clinical knowledge of the treatment landscape including current treatment strategies, current and pending therapies, and developments.
Ensures field medical team supports clinical research activities throughout the product life cycle (phase 1-4), focusing on identification of pre-clinical and clinical (where approved), and post-marketing study investigators/experts.
Ensures effective and appropriate communication among internal and external collaborators, while maintaining full compliance with relevant company, industry, legal and regulatory requirements.

To be considered you an Advanced Clinical/Science Degree is required (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD) and a minimum of 5 years of industry related experience. Experience in working on multi-disciplinary teams and managing significant volume of projects is required. Prior experience as a field medical representative is required. Experience in immunology is required- dermatology, respiratory or gastroenterology is preferred.
Strategically plans, prioritizes, and drives multiple responsibilities and projects.
Demonstrates effective leadership skills (by example and through accomplishments), steps forward to handle challenges within scope of authority.
Deep understanding and knowledge of local regulations and codes of practice for pharmaceutical industry, in particular as they apply to the non-promotional activities of this role.
Demonstrates scientific expertise - stays abreast of data, treatment trends, and new information in the profession and ability to articulate therapeutic knowledge and translate expert feedback into appropriate insights.

$198,000.00 - $330,000.00
