Director Of OSP Engineering

A top client of TEKsystems is seeking a well rounded Director to oversee all aspects of OSP engineering for this end client. Job Summary:
The Director of OSP Engineering will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering operations across the United States. This includes leading Walkout/Survey teams, Design teams, Permitting teams, and Vendor Management teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ArcGIS, Vetro, AutoCAD, and Katapult, and will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all US OSP Engineering operations.
• Lead and coordinate Walkout/Survey teams, Design teams, Permitting teams, and Vendor Management teams.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for OSP Engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Utilize ArcGIS, Vetro, AutoCAD, and Katapult for project planning and execution.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Foster strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on project progress and performance.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with OSP Engineering projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in OSP Engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS, Vetro, AutoCAD, and Katapult.
• Strong understanding of OSP Engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
