We have an exciting opportunity to join our collaborative team of geneticists, molecular and cellular biologists, and bioinformaticians. We are seeking a talented and independently motivated scientist with experience in mammalian cell culture, immunofluorescence, and fluorescence microscopy or high content imaging. This position will be primarily laboratory-focused and will support imaging assay development and execution, CRISPR and small molecule phenotypic screening, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies to assess gene function and drug mechanism of action.

Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize and execute in vitro functional assays with imaging-based readoutsin cell lines and primary cell models
- Perform CRISPR/Cas9 functional genomics research using high content imaging assays
- Develop, implement, and document new experimental protocols/techniques
- Engage in cross-functional target identification and validation projects to support early drug discovery efforts in oncology, immunology, and neuroscience
- Collaborate with scientists across diverse areas in a matrixed research environment
- Manage multiple tasks and project activities simultaneously
- Communicate and present project designs and results clearly, both to individual stakeholders and in group settings
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Cell Biology or related discipline with 3+ years of experience
- Experience with immunofluorescence and fluorescence microscopy required
- Arrayed screening experience is highly desirable
- Expertise in in vitro cell culture required
- Ability to learn new skills and apply them in a fast-paced research environment is a must
