Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. This is a remote role, but the candidate must be local to Dallas, TX.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and ETL processes. The role requires expertise in SQL and Azure, as well as experience with REST APIs and data transformation to ensure data quality and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using SQL and Azure.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to facilitate data integration.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
  • Perform unit testing and validation of data processes to ensure high data quality.
  • Utilize REST APIs to integrate various data sources efficiently.
  • Write stored procedures and T-SQL scripts to manipulate and retrieve data.
  • Implement Microsoft Fabric solutions to enhance data workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, SSIS, and T-SQL.
  • Experience with Azure services and data storage solutions.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and data integration techniques.
  • Experience in unit testing and validation of data processes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, data engineering concepts, and ETL processes is a plus.
