Job Impulse is hiring for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team in Madison, AL. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring the warehouse is organized and running smoothly.

Job Impulse is hiring for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team in Madison, AL. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring the warehouse is organized and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, pallet jacks, etc.) to move, load, and unload products or materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts before and after use to ensure proper working order and report any mechanical issues.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and trucks using a forklift or pallet jack.
- Stack and organize large bulk items and pallets in an efficient and orderly manner.
- Assist in inventory management by scanning and labeling items correctly.
- Follow safety guidelines, warehouse policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform routine warehouse tasks such as shipping, receiving, and picking orders as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Minimum of3 years of forklift operating experiencein a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting.
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required; must be able to obtain certification upon hire).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
- Basic math and computer skills for tracking inventory and shipments.
