Marketing & Communications Director
Community Foundation
Miami (Hybrid)
Salary: $110,000 per year, based on experience
Terrific Marketing & Communications Director position with a large foundation committed to strengthening the communities of South Florida and furthering philanthropic initiatives across the country. The Marketing & Communications Director will serve as the right hand to the Vice President of Communications to create and implement strategic marketing and communications content that strengthens the organization's brand. The role will ensure that communications plans for various projects are developed and implemented in an efficient and effective manner. Ideal candidates will have strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the organization. Candidates should have approximately 8+ years of related work experience. Management experience preferred. Creative or design experience would be a big plus. This position currently operates on a hybrid schedule and is based in the Miami area. The salary for this position is $110,000 per year, based on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a thought-partner to the VP of Communications on significant marketing and communications initiatives
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to assess their marketing and communications needs for projects and events
  • Manage the marketing and communications plans for the organization's large-scale multi-faceted annual event
  • Ensure that strategic plans stay on track
  • Create content for all marketing channels (I.e., social and traditional media)
  • Ensure that communications are consistent with the organization's brand identity
  • Oversee the website; create new content, web pages, and micro-sites
  • Provide analysis of data to inform marketing and communication decisions
Qualifications:
  • Approximately 8+ years of relevant marketing and communications experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing communications and/or marketing plans
  • Passionate about making an impact in underserved communities
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience with content design, website management, or market research a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
