Hardware Support
Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
Hardware Support Job Description:
Provides hardware obsolescence management support to SONAR Sustainment, gathers applicability data for risk reduction buys, coordinates end of life scanning of Bills of Materials, consolidates and communicates scan results to corresponding Program Management and Engineering POCs. Manages storage and organization of reports.
Hardware Support Required Tasks:
Experience or knowledge Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
Experience with Obsolescence Management
Experience with Supply Chain and Material Resource Planning (MRP)
Knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs), Computer-aided design (CAD) drawings
Experience or knowledge of data analysis & modeling methods and tools
Strong problem solving, technical, and reporting skills
Knowledge of SAP MRP system
Windchill/CreoView knowledge
Excel proficiency
Hardware Support Additional Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in related discipline or equivalent education and 1-3 years of experience.
Willingness to work overtime and off shift, if needed.
Possess excellent communication and writing skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
Candidate must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
Job: Full-Time Employee, 40 hours/week
