Quality Control Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Team leader for quality control laboratory
• Perform assays and assay validations
• Carry out laboratory maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, mentoring of junior staff, and managing QC documentation.
• Review test method results for conformity to specification and report on quality discrepancies
• Monitor critical operating parameters for laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Maintain accurate records, investigate discrepancies and OOS, and support method transfer activities
• Timely reporting and analysis of release specifications, stability results
• Lead change control activities, support regulatory audits, and identify process improvements
• Stability, Raw Material and Sample Management program/process continuous improvement
• Liaison with Supply Chain, Materials Management, Facilities and External Quality
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Process Development, Analytical Sciences and Manufacturing teams
• User of LIMS, QMS and statistical software
• Collaborate with Contract Test Laboratories and other outside entities
• Coordinate receipt, tracking, storage, shipment and distribution of Stability, Raw Material and In-process QC samples
• Assist with internal audits
• Author and revise Raw material specifications and risk assessments
• Manage the implementation of an appropriate Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Recognize, report, and document deviations from SOPs, test methods and specifications
