Job Description:

East 57th Street Partners is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with a focus on AI and Machine Learning to help our clients unlock the power of data and build cutting-edge predictive models. This remote position offers flexibility but will require periodic travel for in-person client meetings and industry conferences. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, large-scale data manipulation, and experience turning complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems and optimize decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data-driven goals and strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Design, build, and deploy data pipelines that integrate data from various sources to fuel AI models.
  • Provide advanced statistical analysis, data modeling, and visualization to generate actionable insights.
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning to continuously improve the organization’s capabilities.
  • Present findings to executives and stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Support the development of AI-based tools and products that enhance the client’s operational efficiencies.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative data science culture.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong background in AI and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
  • Strong experience in data visualization and communication of insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings and industry events.
