What You'll Do

We're looking for an Assistant Director of Product Management to join our Enterprise Experience Enablement (EEE) platform product management team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in leading a product team enabling and supporting the Enterprise Salesforce (CRM) Platform, integrations and data management to drive commercial success for partnering business groups. You'll facilitate applications and Infrastructure needs that puts Customer Centricity at the focus of products & technology. Our goal is to retain and attract new customers by continuously improving upon our customer centric strategy. By acquiring a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities and complexities, you'll use that knowledge to empower experience teams across the enterprise to better solve problems for their customers.

You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Bring a multi-disciplinary background that blends technical and business insight, focused on discovering the problems and generating value proposition through solution hypothesis
  • Drive Salesforce platform vision, strategies, and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies, communicating priority and goals
  • Provide relevant insights with influence and data to internal business stakeholders who are delivering consumer solutions for principal's financial success
  • Create enablement, provide ops & services support and bring innovation within technology and platform domain that is focused on future growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers such as engineering, business units, product management and customer experience teams to enhance impact
  • Be a change agent establishing and maturing true product management practices & discipline within EEE product organization
  • Lead and manage a team of product managers to deliver high quality products that make it simple and easy for our business partners to create quality solutions for customers; delivering business impact and value
  • Collaborate with several other product family leaders to drive cross collaboration across platforms, subject areas and Business Units
  • Drive team performance through coaching, growth development and performance management

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of business, technology, or product management experience; or equivalent demonstrated through the following: work experience, military experience, or education
  • 5+ years working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced product environment
  • 2+ years of informal or formal leadership experience
  • Experience partnering with teams in a matrixed environment and supporting technology products through an agile environment
  • Experience resolving solutions to complicated problems using good judgment and positive relationships to assess risk, and lay-out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed narrative
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to influence and negotiate with partners at all levels of the company while advising on complex expectations
  • Proven understanding of techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery and the ability to coach that in others; Understands various approaches and tools for research, synthesis, ideation, and testing in a dynamic dual track discovery and delivery loop

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$123000 - $167000 / year
Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments

This role offers an in-office and hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) work arrangement in Des Moines, IA or Charlotte, NC.
