Job Title: PBX Technician
Job Description:
As a PBX Technician, you will be responsible for providing hands-on support for phone handset (analog and VOIP technologies) and wall jack activations for phone
systems onsite. You will work with a variety of technologies, including Cisco/Siemens and Avaya/Unify, and will receive training for any additional technologies needed.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support for phone handset (analog and VOIP) and wall jack activations.
• Work with technologies such as Cisco/Siemens and Avaya/Unify.
• Perform punch downs, cross connects, and work with 66 blocks.
• Utilize data equipment and fluke testers for switch ports and data points.
• Run link runners and activate jacks.
• Work with Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling.

Qualifications:

• Experience with at least two of the preferred technologies (VOIP and Phone).
• Experience with punch downs, cross connects, and 66 blocks.
• Familiarity with data equipment and fluke testers.
• Ability to run link runners and fluke data points.
• Experience with Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
