  1. Technical Support:
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users, ensuring minimal disruption to their work.
    • Maintain and support desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring data security and compliance.
  2. System Administration:
    • Oversee system updates, patches, and software installations on desktops.
    • Monitor and maintain antivirus, anti-malware, and security software.
    • Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity.
  3. Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software assets, including procurement and disposal.
    • Track equipment and software licenses to ensure compliance with regulations and licensing agreements.
  4. User Training and Documentation:
    • Develop user documentation, FAQs, and training materials.
    • Provide end-user training on various IT tools and systems to enhance their proficiency and minimize support requests.
  5. Incident Management:
    • Coordinate with the IT Help Desk to ensure prompt resolution of user-reported issues.
    • Document and prioritize incidents and service requests.
    • Analyze trends in support requests to identify recurring issues and implement proactive solutions.
  6. Vendor Management:
    • Interact with external vendors to facilitate hardware and software procurement, maintenance, and repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in desktop support and system administration.
  • Strong technical skills in Windows and Mac operating systems, hardware, and software.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and network troubleshooting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT practices and compliance regulations (HIPAA).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) is a plus.
