We are seeking a civil or environmental engineer to work on water resources projects in our Providence, RI office.

Key Responsibilities
This professional will work with a team of technical specialists to execute projects in the areas of climate and flood resiliency, green stormwater infrastructure, and ecological restoration. Additional projects may include hydrology & hydraulics modelling and design, dam analysis and design, and environmental impact assessments. This position will involve working on studies and planning, design and permitting, and construction administration for a range of water resources and climate resiliency projects throughout southern New England.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor s (or graduate) degree in environmental or civil engineering
  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant working experience
  • Experience with field sampling and construction oversight
  • EIT required, PE licensure a plus
  • Relationships with/experience working with municipalities and state agencies desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Geographic Information System (GIS) software, working knowledge of PCSWMM, HydroCAD, HEC RAS or other hydrology & hydraulics modelling
  • Familiarity with environmental permitting processes and regulations; State DOT experience a plus
