Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing engineering solutions for distribution, substation, and other utility-related projects.
- Conduct fieldwork, site assessments, and project evaluations as part of a team.
- Support senior engineers in data analysis, project planning, and documentation.
- Collaborate on quality assurance processes to ensure project accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Participate in walkdowns, equipment verifications, and system troubleshooting.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project proposals and final deliverables.
- Engage with cross-functional teams and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum GPA: Cumulative 3.0.
- Familiarity with engineering software and tools relevant to your discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Collaborative mindset and a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality in all aspects of work.
- Internship or co-op experience in the engineering field.
- Basic knowledge of power distribution, substations, or utility systems.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, GIS tools, etc.
- Demonstrated leadership or participation in engineering-related organizations or projects.
