Job Title: QA Associate

Job Description

Perform QA duties in support of pharmaceutical production. Allocate materials to batches for manufacturing. Assign raw materials to batch records. Verify material use at end of production runs. Review batch records to assure only released ingredients, components, and labeling are used in production. Assure compliance with applicable SOPs. Assure compliance of manufacturing with Batch Record Instructions and requirements. Perform other QA/Doc Control duties as a support to the QA Operations team including label making, printing records, document revisions, issuing records. Cross-train as a QA Inspector to include raw material sampling, log book reviews, line clearances. Participate in weekly QA walkarounds to ensure cleanliness of facility, identify compliance risks, etc.

Hard Skills

  • 1-3 years of QA experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excel (basic knowledge: download information, not creating formulas or graphs)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Work Environment

Hours are flexible day shift (start time 7 or 8:00am – 8 hours from there). May have to cover a night shift schedule once or twice a year. Primarily working at a computer but will be needed for weekly walkthroughs of the facility and backing up inspectors, which could be 50/50 desk or floor related responsibilities. Work within an office environment in the operations building. Environments can be dusty due to powdered products or animal feed-based products.
