Job Description Summary

The Maintenance Technician safely and independently performs preventive, routine and reactive maintenance tasks. This role is a GE Power business that offers cooling hole technologies in the power generation and aerospace industries to increase engine efficiency. Job Description

Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform predictive, preventative, corrective and routine maintenance on production equipment.
  • Repair, maintain and troubleshoot industrial equipment.
  • Repair, assemble and install mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Calibrate process control equipment and instrumentation.
  • Rebuild, install, and make field repairs on centrifugal and diaphragm pumps.
  • Install and repair PVC piping and other types of plumbing.
  • Perform facilities and building maintenance.
  • Document work activities using CMMS.


Qualifications/Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.


Eligibility Requirements
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends, as required.
  • Ability and willingness to qualify for / utilize specialized personal protective equipment as required for the position.
  • Ability and willingness to obey all safety rules, including wearing personal protective equipment (i.e., steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection in designated areas).
  • Legal Authorization is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.


Desired Characteristics
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical / electrical schematics, and other specifications.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles.
  • Basic understanding of electro-mechanical systems hydraulics, pneumatics and pumps.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Self-motivated and results driven.
  • Associates degree.

  • 2nd shift- 2pm -10pm.
  • Various shifts available, with 10% differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.


The base hourly pay for this position is $30 hr. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 10% shift differential.
