As a group manager on the Integrated Product Strategy team, you will lead Go-To-Market product strategy and execution for all seasonal campaigns to meet established Portfolio goals for the Product organization. You will lead and develop the team responsible for defining short- and medium-term product priorities and innovation needs across Beverage, Food and Lobby, partnering closely with Product, Portfolio Management & Analytics, Marketing and the broader Brand organization. Your focus will be on ensuring our GTM Product strategy demonstrates customer centricity, is profit accretive, and balances the right impact on our partners.

As a group manager on the Integrated Product Strategy team, you will...

Lead a team in recommending product priorities (new and core products) for seasonal promotions and authoring seasonal product narratives to influence product marketing.
Own the 24-month product GTM calendar, leading quarterly updates and publishes as well as the Portfolio Annual Review (PAR) process to identify strategic gaps and influence cross-functional teams to analyze and assess the customer/business opportunity.
Lead a team in developing new product briefs to drive growth with priority customer segments, partnering cross-functionally to ensure new products meet Portfolio needs.
Partner with all key marketing and product teams to ensure product is successfully represented through the GTM process end to end.
Provide strategic direction to define the seasonal menu and testing approach for product categories in Caf, Drive-Thru and Digital Menu Boards throughout the year.
Leverage insights and partner cross-functionally with Portfolio Management & Analytics, Product, Marketing and Analytics & Insights teams to answer strategic questions for how Beverage, Food and Lobby categories show up in-store and out of store.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities (process, ways of work) and drive necessary conversations in partnership with IPS PMO to resolve conflicts and implement new solutions.
Prepare and present storytelling decks and materials to support senior leader reviews and discussions.

Advanced knowledge of project management principles
A passion for product management and marketing
Excellent PowerPoint skills to craft effective stories and recommendations for all levels of leadership (VP/SVP+)

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or 4+ years of US military experience
At least 5 years of experience in a role supporting marketing, brand management or product management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA

  • Progressive experience in product or brand management: 6-10 years

  • At least 3 years managing and developing a team of direct reports

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
