Role Description
This is a contract remote role for an Information Technology Support Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, help desk support, and managing desktop computers on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote IT support to clients across various environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring a timely resolution.
- Assist with desktop, laptop, and mobile device management.
- Manage incidents and service requests through an IT Service Management (ITSM) tool.
- Support Windows environments, including desktop and server administration.
- Monitor, maintain, and resolve issues with networking devices, security appliances, and software applications.
Qualifications
- Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of desktop computers and general Information Technology
- Proven experience in Help Desk Support
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus
- Previous experience in cybersecurity or compliance is beneficial

Compensation:
- Up to $30 per hour based on experience and certifications.
