Role Description

This is a contract remote role for an Information Technology Support Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, help desk support, and managing desktop computers on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote IT support to clients across various environments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring a timely resolution.
  • Assist with desktop, laptop, and mobile device management.
  • Manage incidents and service requests through an IT Service Management (ITSM) tool.
  • Support Windows environments, including desktop and server administration.
  • Monitor, maintain, and resolve issues with networking devices, security appliances, and software applications.

Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of desktop computers and general Information Technology
  • Proven experience in Help Desk Support
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus
  • Previous experience in cybersecurity or compliance is beneficial

Compensation:

  • Up to $30 per hour based on experience and certifications.
